Rewards are more than simple money. You need to nurture them spiritually and mentally. By this we mean that you should always praise them for their work, make them feel that they are actually important and that their work is valuable for the company.

A lot of professionals can face this crisis: they feel worthless and useless. You must avoid this from happening, because these depressing episodes can drag their productivity down and therefore decreasing your earnings as the leader.

You need to give the monetary rewards, but more than that, you need to tell them that you actually appreciate what they do, so when they do something excellent, you can praise them even more. People like to be recognized, and even more when it comes from a person who’s on the top.
